John Barranco

With over two decades of expertise in sales and business development, John leads PRIME’s efforts in identifying new consulting opportunities and establishing strategic collaborations that drive organizational success. As a co-founder of PRIME, his vision and passion for helping businesses thrive make him the perfect fit for this pivotal role.

Prior to joining PRIME full-time, John led business development at Morgan & Co., a leading advertising agency in New Orleans. During his time there, he successfully connected businesses with media experts, contributing to the development of effective media strategies.

Prior to his time at Morgan & Co., John was Senior Associate Commissioner for the Sun Belt Conference where he led corporate partnership efforts for the league. Prior to his seven-year stint at the Sun Belt,  John was the Director of Sales for Cox Sports Regional Television (CST), where he was responsible for core and digital advertising sales for New Orleans Saints and LSU programming. Prior to his time at CST, John served as the Associate Athletic Director for External Relations for the University of New Orleans Athletic Department, where he led marketing, sponsorship, and development efforts for the Privateers.  John serves on the Board of Directors for the FORE!Kids Foundation, producers of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. He is also a member of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce and the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce.

John holds a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
